3D design
A sketch on paper, a photo of the broken part, a sample part in an envelope or, for the moment, just a thought: out of that comes a 3D model that fits. I take the measurements from you, from your reference or from the sample part; where something is still open, we settle it before the start.
Step A Reference
No finished drawing is needed. The more detail you can give me, the sooner the model fits. But a description over the phone has turned into a spare part before now.
Step B Modelling
Modelling is done in Fusion 360 or Blender, and in such a way that the part can actually be printed afterwards: wall thicknesses, tolerances and contact surfaces are taken into account from the start.
Step C Delivery
In the end the file belongs to you, for your private use. You get it by email in the format of your choice, and if you want, it goes straight on into printing with no detour: simply choose “Printing & design” in the form.
Services
You bring the file, a sketch, or for now just the idea. Every enquiry gets a no-obligation quote at a fixed price, usually within twelve hours. No printing starts until you approve the quote.
Item 01 3D printing
FDM printing on the Bambu Lab P1S with AMS: up to four colours or four materials in a single run, TPU excepted. I set wall thickness, infill and support structures to suit before the print starts.
Item 02 3D design
No 3D file? From your sketch, your photo or your description I build the matching model in Fusion 360 or Blender. I take the dimensions from you, from your template or from the sample part. If something is missing, I ask before I start.
Item 03 Advice
Material, strength, feasibility: I tell you plainly what works and what does not, including when FDM is the wrong process for your project, or 3D printing in general. Better a clear no than a part that fails.
Process
Before anything is printed, you know the price. After that everything runs through one channel, directly with me and without any middlemen.
Fill in the form and upload the file or link to it. If you do not have one yet, a sketch or a photo is enough for a design job.
Without obligation and fairly calculated, with a fixed price: for printing from the amount of material and the print time, for design from the design time.
Printing usually 1–4 days, design 1–7 days.
On larger projects you get interim updates before the work continues.
In person in Munich by arrangement, or anywhere in Germany with DHL GoGreen, as a letter or a parcel. You pay the quoted amount by PayPal or bank transfer; I will issue an invoice on request.
